The Virginia Land Cruiser Association is a chapter of TLCA. We organized our club in January of 1995 and have twenty two members. Our members own about 30 FJ-40s, one Toyota pickup and one FJ-55.

The main interest of our club is 4-wheeling, enjoying the outdoors and the preservation and restoration of the toyota land cruiser. We are involved in keeping public land open for 4-wheeling and land management issues. Our club members observe Tread Lightly.

We organize 4-wheel drive trips typically on a monthly basis. These trips are usually weekend trips in the western part of Virginia and in West Virginia with overnight facilities consisting of primitive camping in national forests. We participate in the Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride in Tennessee each May and the Catamount Cruiser Challenge each October. These two runs are TLCA sponsored and are major events for our club. Many of our local trips are made with other 4-wheel drive clubs.

We meet the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. for dinner and club business at various locations throughout the Tidewater area. If you own a Land Cruiser or have an interest in purchasing a Land Cruiser, give us a call.
